DESCRIPTION:This workshop is sponsored by the Mt Scott-Arleta Neighborhood Association with generous support from the Portland Street Plazas Program at PBOT \nBring your dull garden tools back to life!   \nIn this hands-on\, 2-hour sharpening workshop\, you’ll learn proper techniques to safely and effectively sharpen a wide range of tools\, from hand pruners and shears to shovels\, hoes\, axes\, lawn mower blades\, and more.  \nWe’ll cover tool care basics\, sharpening methods for different blade types\, and how to maintain sharp edges for smoother\, safer work in your garden. \nBring anything with an edge—scissors\, saws\, trowels\, sickles\, loppers—you’ll leave with sharper tools and sharper skills.  \nNo experience necessary!  \n– Participants are encouraged to bring 2-3 garden tool to sharpen if you have them. \n– Closed-toe shoes are required. \nhttps://www.hisawyer.com/makewith-hardware-learning-center/schedules/activity-set/1536799
