Vote for your favorite building color
As part of Multnomah County Library’s building and expansion program, Holgate Library is being rebuilt as a new, larger library. Through listening sessions and online meetings, community members have provided so many great ideas for the library. Back in May, the public voted on the interior design (you can view the new interior design). Now we’d like to hear from you again.
The exterior of the new Holgate Library will have a custom metal panel which will give the building a unique look. Similar to the interior design voted on by the public, the exterior color options are also inspired by calming colors found in nature.
Voting is available online and at Holgate Library where we have poster boards to display the options, alongside Chromebooks to show videos of the colors changing in the light. Voting information is available in all We Speak Your Language options (Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, Spanish, English).
Voting ends on October 14.
